School Advisory Council
The School Advisory Council is advisory to the Pastor and the Principal. The council formulates policies and makes suggestions to enhance the learning environment for the students of Saint Paul. The School Advisory Council determines the annual budget, oversees the budget and determines the use of funds raised by fund raising events. Long range and short-term planning regarding facilities, maintenance, and budget are their responsibility. The Development Committee is an integral part of the duties of the board.
Upcoming Elections:
Each year St. Paul Catholic School holds elections for open positions in May. The function of the School Advisory Council is to serve in an advisory role to the Pastor and the Principal on policies, programs, services, and strategic planning for the school. Each position has a 3 year term that begins on July 1.

General Eligibility:
Each member of the School Advisory Council shall be at least 18 years of age, active in his/her parish and/or St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School, willing to give time and energy to the advancement of the mission of the school. The individual’s professional and personal life should be reflective of the teachings of the Catholic Church. No lay member of the School Advisory Council may be employed by St. Paul the Apostle Parish or St. Paul the Apostle School. No lay member may be an immediate family member (spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, child) of an employee of St. Paul the Catholic School.
